1.Nanjing-China
We communicated with team Nanjing-China about water quality data. They were trying to figure out an innovative way to process the sewage and therefore generate energy for the growth of crops. We shared water samples from our environmental water quality monitoring with them (including sample from ocean, fresh water basin and some factory). We hope that these data will be useful in improving the suitability of their equipment.

2.DUT_China_B
We communicated with team DUT_China_B about our project design and method of analysis of protein function and structure. Our subjects this year are all about Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, so we also had some communication in the protocol of the experiment. We asked them about the light control parts. They proposed that the ChR we planned to use was itself a light-controlled ion channel, which don’t have light-controlled expression function. So we refined our experimental design, using PB-ChR photosensitive promoters to promote downstream gene expression. In addition, regarding the prediction of Flo1 protein structure and function before and after the improvement of the improvement part of the project, they proposed that homologous sequences could be found between large proteins and small proteins, and the functions of the two proteins could be compared.

3.OUC-CHINA
We saw the information of OUC-China on the official website of iGEM, and found that they were making a comic book which was similar to our manual, so we contacted with them. We exchanged comic books and manuals and refined them. And provided them with pictures of our lab to help them complete their creative experiments.

4.NWU-China
We have cooperated with NWU-China. We have had a wide range of interactions to make more people aware of our projects. During the exchange, we told them about the planning of our Human practices, they were very interested in our field investigations and in combination with local conditions, and exchanged and studied. At the same time, our modeling encountered a problem in fitting equations and got a lot of inspiration after talking to them.

5.XMU-China
We communicated with XMU-China about the protein model, espically the three-dimosional structure model. We had some difficulties in modeling the stereoscopic structure of FLO1 by homology modeling methods and analyze the data of the protein structure prediction. They had the experience of modeling the protein structure prediction, so we asked them for help. They predicted the protein structure of FLO1 for us and offered some valuable suggestions and reference about bioinformatics to us.
