When we were building a model for the biomass and lipid synthesis of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, we found that the biomass and lipid content of C. reinhardtii depend on the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus in the medium. Therefore, we use artificial sewage to culture algae through different ratios of nitrogen and phosphorus. In the process of cultivating algae, we measure the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus and the accumulation of lipid per day. Using experimental data to evaluate model parameters, we simulated the optimal nitrogen and phosphorus concentrations of C. reinhardtii biomass and lipid accumulation. We also established a flocculated protein model to predict the functional segment of the protein, which was used in the collection of C. reinhardtii. By analyzing the protein model, we proved that the flocculation protein have the same functional segment as BBa_K2407004. Click here for details
