primary PI

Ying Miao is the primary PI in our team. She owns abundant experience about how to solve the practical problems in the real world. Meanwhile, she offered funding and lab bench support. She is a beauty!

Huiying Zhang

second PI

Huiying Zhang is the second PI in our team. She devoted herself to the study of algae. She helped us to correct the details about protocol and project.

Jian Liu

second PI

Jian Liu is the second PI in our team.He gave some suggestions about experiment, and he will lead our team to participate in the jamboree.

Yi Cai

He is the advisor of FAFU-CHINA team this year. He gave the outline and suggestion about project. Meanwhile, He helped team to get lab support.

I am a student leader of FAFU-CHINA 2019. I learned about iGEM through the internet in 2017. When I entered the university, I learned more about iGEM through iGEMers of my school. I really like the kind of enthusiasm and the kind of atmosphere, so I tried my best to promote 2019 FAFU-CHINA. During the competition, I spent more time and energy to ensure that each group in the team performed the tasks normally and presented ideas and suggestions for each group. At the same time, I participated in experiment and human practice. Since the development of green sustainable energy is imminent, it is time for people to understand green sustainable energy and understand the possibility of green energy development. I am very grateful to my school for giving us the opportunity to participate, thanks to iGEM for providing us with a platform to showcase our research and ideas. I hope that the enthusiasm of all iGEMers can advance synthetic biology!

I am a student leader of FAFU-CHINA 2019. This is my first year in iGEM. During this intense and fulfilling year, I learned a lot about synthetic biology and team management. I am in charge of projects, experiments, and also involve in Human Practice and modeling design. Meanwhile, I take charge about academic writing for content of wiki and poster. And I will give a presentation at the Giant jamboree. Seeking cooperation with other team is also my task. Through iGEM competition, I made many like-minded friends and determine to do further research in the field of synthetic biology. I hope I can participate in iGEM 2020 and achieve better results.
