In the News!

For the Aix-Marseille team, communication is a main pillar of our activity. We have put a lot of effort into public engagement and participated in various events that have helped us carry out our project and reach a very wide range of audience.

During these events, we wanted to explain synthetic biology as well as molecular engineering to the general public. In France, GMOs are not appreciated, and many people find it scary. Our team wanted to show that GMOs, despite having some disadvantages, can also have advantages. Therefore, we wanted to establish a strong dialog with the general public on this subject. Social media was one our main mean of communication. To spread awareness about TB, we created "Did you know?" facts.

Beyond our commitment and engagement in different public events in France, we wanted to extend our communication as far as possible. We appeared a local television channel (Provence Azur TV), we were interviewed by Camille BOSSHARDT.

our project has been more widely shared thanks to an article published by Eric NUNES in Le Monde newspaper, with a national visibility. Want to read it?.

Our University helped us promote our project. An article was published in the Newsletter written by the BVE (Students service office). It has been shared on all student mailboxes of the university (78 000). What ad for us!
