Brainstorming & visual design

She is our massilian Andy Wharol! She designed our logo, brochures and took care of anything related to visuals.

For almost two months, the whole team brainstormed several ideas. The whole process came down to the current project.

She worked on integrating the P3-N1/TolA3 system.

Jennifer


She worked on characterizing the TALs fusion proteins.

He worked on the Polymerase spiral reaction (PSR).

She worked on characterizing the antifreeze proteins.

He worked on characterizing the methylase proteins.

Sebastien


Sebastien transformed the model which inspired us in antimony, a modular model definition language. Sebastien (again) launched the model simulations.

Running social media accounts

Jade


She is our Instagram specialist! She created the Instagram posts with a lot of love and style. Her hard work helped the team gain visibility.Check out her work.

He took care of our LinkedIn account. He helped develop our professional network.Check out his work.

He is our Twitter bird. He wrote 140 characters post with a lot of seriousness and tons of hashtags! He’s also our private choreographer... Check out his work.

Funding & partnerships

They are the uncompromising team's negotiators. They helped find new partners and sponsors.

He is the man for completing horribly boring funding files. He's incredilby patient with our banker and handles the project's funding.

Aka Pixou raised funds and found partners for laboratory equipement.

Integrated Human practices, education & public engagement

The team directed by Agathe (the girl on the left of the only man on the picture) represented the team in our local community's events. The team launched surveys, represented us at multiple events (Science market, Science fair, Biotechnology forum etc.) through education and activities. They managed to collect data from the public that was later integrated into the project in a way that serves best our community.

Jonas did the primers testing for the iGEM Thessaly team which worked on tuberculosis also.

Farid


He was the postman of the team. He designed the postcard for the postcard exchange program with team Düsseldorf.

3rd Mediterranean meetup

Agathe, Jade & Sebastien


They were the main organizers of the event. They took care of the logistics to ensure a smooth welcome to our wonderful guests. They even cooked French food. Are they best hosts or what?

Wiki design & editing

Sebastien & Megan


They are the team's superheroes and the main brains behind the wiki. They won our eternal recognition!

Jerome Nin


He is a lead developper at Net invaders, a French startup that creates websites. He gave us a hand with debugging potential issues with the wiki design. He is Sebastien's brother!

On behalf of the Aix Marseille team, we would like to extend our appreciations for the amazing work done by everyone who supported us. We would like to thank our instructors: James STURGIS, Laetitia HOUOT and Julie VIALA. As well as our advisors: Valerie PRIMA, Sebastien NIN and Yorgo EL MOUBAYED.

Our instructors showed leadership qualities that the rest of the team look up to, we could not have done it without your help. Thank you to Yorgo EL MOUBAYED for the endless hours you’ve put in doing work on the project, and the professionalism that you have shown has impressed the entire team immensely. Your diligence, self-motivation as well as dedication have been a source of inspiration for the rest of the team. Sebastien NIN, we would like to thank you for the amazing work you have done for this team, starting with the wiki design all the way to the many advices you've gave us. Your hard work (especially on the model) and determination were paid off and we are truly grateful. We assure you that your efforts are significantly appreciated.
