Safety

As is known to all the researchers in laboratories, safety is a prerequisite for any research. GDSYZX values the importance of safety for the research. To ensure the individual and societal safety, and to reduce the risks involving, GDSYZX had a series work of safety done.

To make sure that we can learn safety matters carefully,we invited Professor Zhangyishun at sun yat-sen university introducing safety precautions which we should pay attention to at laboratory at length.He also told us some experimental safety accidents that have occurred in some areas in the past to let us keep safety rules in mind.Before starting any laboratory work, our instructor and adviser send lab coats and disposable gloves to each members in order to do a protection.Before and after the experiment, we sterilize our hands with alcohol.When we were doing experiments, we carefully carry out experimentsal operations.The waste after the experiment will be collected and treated ensuring they won’t leak out of the lab and caused contamination.
