Team introduction
We are the team of Xiao Shan High School from China called Worldshaper-XSHS. Sixteen like-minded people gather together, with the spirit of "race, brave to stand tide" as the program, are striving for the azo bond treatment of sewage and struggle. We felt the smell of Escherichia coli in the laboratory together and laughed together in social practice. We are such a group of lovely and interesting people, come to know us!
Logo, Flag, and Uniform
After a lot of screening and the addition of our team characteristics, our team emblem and the team uniforms as well as the team flag was finally completed. The following is an introduction to the design concept.
First, let's see the team emblem. We drafted four models successively, drew the most brilliant parts from each version and modified to outline the most abundant meanings with the least number of strokes. The double helix structure in the central is the basic part of this logo, and it is also an overall embodiment of our genetic project. Underneath it is three meandering curves which joined together to form a rolling river, where the broken azo bonds floating on. This means the azo materials are suppressed by the genome, which represents our purpose.
Our team uniform with two parts was designed by different person, but we decided to unify the style after a discussion. Dark ink on the pure white background formed a variety of patterns, showing the Chinese style in a direct way. Beside it is a red "Xiao" character, showing that all of us are members from the big family of Xiao Shan High School. The ink Chinese dragon and auspicious clouds on the back is not only a good wish for smooth sailing, but also a way to promote cultural communication between different countries. The overall style is very simple and clear, so the uniform can make us look more energetic.
However, the team flag has a different appearance. The background color is totally black, white emblem and fire red seal on it makes it noble and elegant. It combines elements from both modern and classical times, showing that science and art can be connected organically.
All in all, we hope that those tiny designs can reflect everyone's capable and persevering qualities, express our spirit, and create a harmonious and united team atmosphere.

Zhang Zijun
I am Zhang Zijun of Class 2104. Now I am the wet team captain of the world shaperHSHS. I am mainly responsible for the experimental part. I prefer model control and production, such as aeromodelling and car modelling. I also appreciate the vivid play of NBA players in the game. Like the old man's words: “The so-called bottomless abyss, down, is the future of thousands of miles.”I hope our team will achieve the iGEM gold medal at Celtic's home.

Hello everybody! My name is Minhao Wang. I am a member of Worldshaper-XSHS. I am currently the team leader and responsible for coordinating the team work. I have a wide range of interests, like basketball, music, hosting and so on. But I am best at doing student cadre work, which is one of the reasons I ran for team leader. I believe that under the concerted efforts of the team members, we will surely achieve good results in Boston!

Hello, everyone. I'm Ni Fangkun, a personal practitioner who has practiced the dislocation subtraction for two and a half years. I like singing and dancing rap basketball, music... He Yingqi(2003~ ),male,a normal student born in Hangzhou,China,now at Xiaoshan High School，Zhejiang Province.He joined worldshaper-XSHS in 2019 and he is responsible for team-wiki designing. He have a strong interest in computer science and he is creative and patient with his work and team.He hopes to develop his abilities in the team, foster the spirit of unity and cooperation, and gain a deeper understanding of biology and genetic engineering.

Fund of speaking and studying all kinds of language and English Accent，sports like soccer, badminton, Arrow shooting and snooker, what’s more, LEGO and piano are my favourites. My name is Yao Hangjie, a pseudo Wenqing [schizophrenic patients with mild to severe illness]. When I first meet, I may feel a little cold, but in fact... It's a madman. Writing articles and photographing are my daily life. I prefer walking along the lake in the light rain and looking at the distant mountains in the twilight. Ph.D. in Bio-system Engineering, Zhejiang University.She has been engaged in the rapid diagnosis of food safety based on surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS). She is good at synthesis and functional development of micro- or nano- materials, preparation of surface-enhanced Raman scattering active substrates.Dr. Ruyi Shi is the secondary PI of our team, who is responsible for the guidance of scientific research methods and the work of dry team.

In 2008, he obtained a major in development biology from Zhejiang University's College of Life Sciences. He is mainly engaged in the development of cilia in early stages of clawed frogs and Developmental research.
