PUBLIC AND ENGAGEMENT
1. Community Class
Our team has been to "space for new youth development" to organize a short class for children. We introduced our team and some interesting points about fungi and cordyceps, in order to promote biology to them and stimulate their interests in biology. (view more)
2.ACMA
In 2019, we held the Sichuan University 2019 Architects Competition of Microorganism Application (ACMA): Microbes and Biosynthesis of Natural Products, which is a theoretical design competition. The ACMA uses iGEM's research thought for reference and encourages students to solve the problems of real-life by using kinds of subjects' knowledge. (view more)
3.Board Game
SCU-China had created a board game called "Arena of Bacteria". For this board game, We want to show the public how the antibiotics affect our environment. (view more)
4.Video
We planned to take advantage of vogue 'We media' platform (like Bilibili, Youku, Weibo, YouTube) to make public science education in the form of interesting little video. We made two videos, one is about the differentiation between Cordycepin, Cordyceps Militaris and Cordyceps Sinensis, while the other is about drop pop cordycepin of SCU-China iGEMers. (view more)
