In the course of improving our subject, members of our group made an investigation of public knowledge of cordycepin and its relevant product. According to the consequences of the questionnaire, we found that the public was weak at distinguishing between Cordycepin and Cordyceps. Moreover, they may also misunderstand our work and some GM product. Based on these, we planned to take advantage of vogue 'We media' platform (like Bilibili, Youku, Weibo, YouTube) to make public science education in the form of interesting little video.

We were going to make two videos, one is about the differentiation between Cordycepin, Cordyceps Militaris and Cordyceps Sinensis, while another is about drop pop cordycepin of SCU-China IGEMers. They are all linked below. Just click on, and you can watch them provided that you have some interest. Our video content is in Chinese for a better popularization among Chinese people. But don't worry, we will upload the English dubbed version with English letters in case there exists an understanding problem.

In the first video, we displayed the appearance, growth, and some common sense of Cordyceps in a vivid and concise and intuitive form, so that the audience could understand the key of our project, Cordyceps, in just four minutes or so.

In the second video, with the form of an anima short film, from the perspective of subject selection, planning, experimental process, analysis of the results, and future prospects, the basic operational process of an IGEM project is presented, expressing our SCU-China's Passion and enthusiasm for public education of synthetic biology. Also, thanks to Miss Jubyphonic who provided the sound source!

After the publication of our video, it has attracted some attention. Among them, the Bilibili video platform has a very high volume as well as number of compliments.
