AceBiome is a probiotic company spun off from Bioneer in 2017. The company is known in the probiotic industry for their novel strain, Lactobacillus gasseri BNR17®, a product with 18 years of research by its parent company. The company has a broad range of molecular diagnostic solutions and the platform technologies in RNAi-based therapeutics carrying a few pre-clinical programs in pipeline.

Global IPs of Lactobacillus gasseri BNR17® include 11 patents in 10 countries for Treatment or Prevention of Obesity & Diabetes approved in the U.S., EU countries, China, Japan and Korea; and trademarks registered or pending in over 20 countries. This strain is clinically proven through three human clinical studies in major university hospitals in Korea for the effect of reducing weight, waist & hip circumferences, visceral adipose tissue, BMI and relieving IBS significantly.
