Collaborations
6th CCiC: The biggest meetup in China:
During this summer, our team attended 6th CCiC (Conference of China iGEMer Community, CCiC) in Shenzhen to promote our project. CCiC provided us a good opportunity to show and exchange our ideas, materials and achievement, etc. We communicated thoroughly with other iGEMers regarding our projects, made friends and kept touching each other afterwards, making it possible for us to have substantial collaborations with other teams, showed in the following.
Collaboration with YAU-China:

We helped YAU-China to solve their wiki problems, and shared the ideas about hardware.
YAU-China team aimed to solve problems of antibiotic resistance caused by biofilm formation of Pseudomonas aeruginosa in clinical treatment, and provide a new idea for eradication of chronic bacteria infection. This forward-looking attracted our team members. We kept contacting with them since CCiC. In the Oct, they told us that there was a little difficulties to finish the wiki effectively, and asked us for help. We gave them the direct guidance about how to use the procedure to manage the detail of wiki and draw a clear outline for them. Meanwhile, we had a big brainstorm together in order to create a hardware to make our projects used into the reality. During this process, both of us finished our project effectively, and established the profound friendship.
Collaboration with ZJUT-China:

We helped the ZJUT-China team to design their hardware, which is used for gas accumulator.
Before the conversation, we were intrigued by ZJUT’s project, which also focused on similar topic of formaldehyde clearance, as well as by their hardware design. Through our conversation, we have contributed some inspiration and suggestions in improving their hardware design: several members advised to adopt a gas-washing bottle-like structure for the flawed device. Afterwards, we heard that the team ZJUT designed a more complex and efficient gas-washing bottle—the gas accumulator—which was installed onto their hardware device.
Meanwhile, they gave us some new inspirations of our BioBrick design. Thanks to their support. We appreciate this collaboration with ZJUT-China for their contribution, which enabled us to make our project further improvements.
Collaboration with Shanghai_YGQ:

Shanghai_YGQ helped us to develop mathematics model.
All the high school students shared our experience at high school meetup during 6th CCIC, and we share the problems we had at that moment. we had an agreement with Shanghai YGQ team to help each other with the collection of human practice, especially with sharing the questionnaire to strengthen the persuasiveness of the data.
After the first presentation of our project and the introduction of our poster, we found out that our model needed to be developed. So iGEMers from Shanghai YGQ team gave a very useful method of constructing the pathway of the reaction during the discussion of model. We appreciate all the donations and helps from YGQ Shanghai.
Thanks to all other people who gave us any suggestion or inspiration!
