Yuhan Sun

“I currently taking AP Chemistry and Biology courses at Jinan Foreign Language School. eagering to explore the mechanism of everything and using the knowledge to change the world. ‘Biology can solve the secret of the world,the body’, I often say so, ‘if we can utilize this tool, the power of biology, our world can be unimaginably amazing.’ Holding this belief, I entered the gate of synthetic biology, and participated iGEM.” He is the core of our team. As a leader, he needs to organize everything. He did the presentation about the result part, which is the trickiest one. He also did a lot of experiments. Meanwhile, he made the wiki of the experiments and results. He also took part in the human practice activities in the summer holiday.

Jinyi Fan

Greetings to all IGEMers and all adventurers. I am Fan Jinyi from team JNFLS who take up the job as one of the team leaders at present. In my 16 years of exploration, bioengineering and medicine are found to be the two most intriguing subjects of all. Personally I do, just as every simple youngsters, enjoy miscellaneous comics, animations, and games, especially the ‘Tou Hou project’ series. But doing sports and reading classics never attract any interests of mine. So for me, to behave in manner and to create elegance in life is preferable, but also almost impossible. What a pity. The giant jamboree provides a precious chance for me to get a holistic but detailed view of my future career in biology. This time I am responsible for the elaboration of the project background. We look forward to meeting you all.

Zixin Xu

She is student of JiNan Foreign Language High School. She targets biochemistry. She loved creatures and amazing lives, watching documentary to satisfy desire to close that. She is glad to try new things and exploring them, and has some novel ideas. She enjoys serenity in lab, and is patient to research files, meanwhile, she is a retoucher in our team, though the low computer function often troubles her. The strong imagination maybe cause lack of reality of her, but it has to be said that bring her ability of painting, which could help some projects of our team.

Zhiyang Zhang

My name is Ken. I am responsible for the mathematics model in the team. I love maths and I am also good at maths. I am the co-leader of the maths club. In the past, I got the gold medal in UKMT and Waterloo mathematics competition. I am also going to represent our school to participate in IGEM and HIMCM..

Dongyu Jin

My name is Dongyu Jin. I’m mainly responsible for collaboration in the team. My major direction is A level course and bio-chemistry in the future. In the leisure time, I’d prefer watching baseball and football games. I love LA best. Hope to be friends with you.

Quze Ma

Megan comes from Jinan Foreign Language School ,a student from year 11 class 18.In this team , I am the person who help to do the experiment.I hope our project could help to improve the environment condition and to find a new way to solve the problem of air pollutants.I believe our project could give all competitors a surprise.

Hongxiang Yun

Hello guys, my name is Victor. I’m 16-year-old. I was born in China, and I live with my parents now. I love sports, especially basketball. Also, I’m interested in watching news and reading. The reason why I wanted to study biology was that I got interested in Medicine. I remembered that once I saw a man who had met a terrible car accident suffering in the ward. His could not move his body because his spine was broken. However, the medicine that time was not able to help him to recover. I felt so sorry about his experience but there was nothing I can do. After that time, I started to study biology and medicine because I wanted to keep people away from those pain. This time, IGEM gives me a chance to meet those people who get same hobbies with me. I can learn more about synthetic biology. This experience is valuable for my future development, and I think I’m ready for this competition. IGEM, I’m coming for you.

Yuan Ma

This is my Chinese name "马源". This is my English name "Angela". A girl who live in Jinan is a student in Jinan foreign language school. Name means that I am a angel, but actually I don't think what angel likes EDM and skateboarding. Giving a hand is very important for everyone, I think. Every animal is my favorites, especially cat. Leadership is not radiate from me. I prefer to be a creative person. A confident and perceptive freshman girl.

Qianyi Zhang

Preferred to be called Johnny. Qianyi is really a big fan of Chinese cuisine, but he could NOT cook a single dish. Besides, teammates always call him GEL TERMINATOR as he leak nearly every piece of the gel used for electrophoresis due to lack of experience and a miscalculation of the thickness of the gel. He is also into math, although he has trouble understanding what the teacher was talking about in the math class. Above all, he has a real passion for both the science courses and economics, which is another thing he wants to work on in the future.

Lingzhen Meng

My name is mandy meng from JiNan foreign language school ShangDong province.Talking about myself,I am a quite outgoing and optimistic girl and always willing to try something new.In my spare time,I enjoy doing some sports like swimming or tennis although I am not good at it,I am still keen on paying effort for improving my professional skill.And for the future,I would like to study in the field of life science or biomedicine in Britain,and make more self enhancement in those ares.Besides,I am really interested in synthetic biology although I still have a lot of work to do.

Yu Huan

My name is Eric coming from china. I studied in a local international center, A-level program majored in biochemistry. I participated in igem competition as a high school student for figuring out the possible works I might carry out after graduate. Personally, I’m a die-hard fan of Japanese anime, my passion towards biology was actually activated by the animation cells at work. In this run I take part in the design of our poster, drawing manga which illustrate the process and principles of our project.

Xinao Li

I'm Xinao Li from team JNFLS. I mainly participated in the experiment part of the whole preparation for 'iGEM'. My purpose of participation in 'iGEM' is to learn some experimental operating techniques and basic knowledge of molecular biology. By taking part in the preparation for 'iGEM', I got a chance to access many advanced biological experiment equipments and know how molecular biology changes our life. It is meaningful for me to participate 'iGEM' because it solififies my hope in development in biology in the future.
