Safety
Firstly, all of our wetlab members and some of not wetlab members attended to the annual training lecture for conductor of recombinant DNA experiment that is officially held by Gunma University. Thus all of us properly understood how we need to behave in Lab and rules of treating genetically engineered organisms.
We only used E.coli as our chassis organisms, which is proved not to be harmful for us and environment. E.coli DH5α, BL21 (DE3) and BL21 (DE3) pLysS are used through all of our projectto implement experiments for iGEM2019.
Also we considered safety when we purchase reagents.For example, we chose Midori Green as safer DNA fluorescent staining reagent instead of EtBr,which is cancer causing.
