Demonstrate of GZHS-United

In this page, we demonstrated how we engineered project system and how they work under realistic conditions.

Our system comply with all rules and policies approved by the iGEM Safety Committee

We used two kinds of vectors in the project, pET28b and pET28b-rplJ with Kana antibiotic resistance. SymAPX3, SymAPX3-mut1, SymAPX3-mut2 and ATAPX1 were loaded, respectively. All components were in line with RFC10 standard, and all sequences had eliminated illegal restriction sites in our design

The biomaterials (plasmids and competent cells) we used are all non-toxic and harmless. They will be processed carefully in the laboratory and then discarded, so as to avoid the outflow of experimental materials.

Our system working under real world conditions successfully

All the proteins in this project were expressed in vitro, and the gene sequences come from Zooxanthella and Arabidopsis. Since the components we constructed were still well expressed when transferred into Escherichia coli, indicating that the system components we developed had mobility and robust competence.
