B CUBE – Center for Molecular Bioengineering at TU Dresden that carries out research in: (i) BioProspecting applied to identify natural phenomena which answer technological needs, (ii) BioNano Tools developed to characterize biostructures and processes at the molecular level, and (iii) Biomimetic Materials. By learning from natural phenomena and translating this knowledge into technological solutions, B CUBE is building bridges between Life Sciences and Engineering Sciences.
BIOTEC - The Biotechnology Center that is an interdisciplinary research center that develops innovative technologies driving the progress of modern life sciences in the areas of molecular cell and developmental biology, physical biology, and computational biology. Also, the BIOTEC offers teaching via international Masters courses and PhD research to train future scientists in its core research disciplines.
Research at the Center for Regenerative Therapies (CRTD) at TU Dresden focuses on discovering principles of cell and tissue regeneration, and leveraging this for recognition, treatment, and reversal of diseases. The CRTD links the bench to the clinic, and scientists to clinicians to bring expertise in stem cells, gene-editing, and regeneration towards innovative therapies for metabolic, osteo-hematological, and neurological diseases.
