Collaboration with Cyano Barrier
In order to gain more experience in future human practice's activities, we scheduled a meeting with another iGEM team, “cyano barrier”（Official Team Name: Shanghai_High_School）. We exchanged our research topics in the goal of better understanding each other. After that, we came up with a few questions concerning the conduction of interviews and social investigation.As their answer, their leader introduced us one of the unforgettable experience in their course of social investigation. Learning from their former experience in communicating with professors, we were made aware thatinformation asymmetry may occur since the specialists sometimes may not be familiar with certain question we ask, which is exactly the issue we need to avoid.

Collaboration with Dr. Thermometer

After we interviewed some specialists whose areas of expertise are cervical cancer and the HPV virus, we became interested in the research and activities of the other iGEM team Dr. Thermometer (Official Team Name: Shanghai_HS). Other than taking professional suggestions, our team is also eager to learn about what other team has done and how they planned their human practice activities to fulfill their goals. Based on these objectives, we scheduled a meeting with Dr. Thermometer on August 3th. First, their leader introduced their research topic --- the methods to inspect the vaccines -to us. Listening with undivided attention, our teammates also raised meaningful questions such as the significance of their research to patients and companies that manufacture the vaccines. Worrying about their future activities, the members of Dr. Thermometer also have a lot of questions concerning our experiences on social investigations, and in the aim for helping them reaching a higher goal, we provided them with valuable and meaningful suggestions from our past experiences. Based on our previous social investigation experience, we suggested Dr. Thermometer to choose locations with abundant pedestrian volume, such as hospital, shopping mall to host promotion events.
