While developing our project, we have interacted with many different people, we have been listening to a variety of different perspectives and as a result we have been integrating our experiences into project design throughout the whole project. Ribosome standby site could be used for increasing efficiency of ribosome binding sites. Check how we used this system to improve the chromoprotein AsPink. Improved part containing ribosome standby site BBa_K3105666 shows increased expression of AsPink compared to original part BBa_K1033926. Read more about this on our Improvement page!
We have created a model to predict the outcome of our project, and adjusted our plan accordingly Read more on our Modelling page!

We constructed the following parts and proved that they work as expected: BBa_K3105679, BBa_K3105668 and BBa_K3105680 .
We found a common ground for discussions with the iGEM Stockholm team about ways of taking a scientific project few steps further to the product on the market. Together we have organized a BioEntrepreneurship conference. Click here to read more about our collaboration!
