1.When encounter questions or issues, immediately consult the teachers and do not perform the experiments by yourself.
2.Wear proper lab coats, gloves, and closed-toed shoes, and hair must be tied back when inside the laboratory.
3.Keep the lab table organized and clean.
4.After the experiment, make sure to clean your lab table, shut down the equipments that were used.
5.Please wear protection gloves when using liquid nitrogen.
6.Broken glassware must be put into specially designed trash bin.
7.Do not put heated object directly on cool table surfaces to prevent damage on the glassware due to sudden temperature change.
8.The centrifuge must be balanced and the rotation must not be too high.
9.Before the centrifuge reaches the highest rotation speed, it should not be left unsupervised.
10.Before opening the sterilizer, pressure must be released first.
11.You must be extremely careful when using a syringe. Try to prevent the needle and potential broken glass harming your hands. Used syringe must be cleaned immediately and disposed properly.
12.All chemicals must be labeled clearly with permanent marks to prevent misuse.
13.For chemicals that are unstable throughout the process of preservation must be specially marked or labeled.
14.Containers with corrosive liquid or hazardous chemicals should be stored at low position on shelves.
15.Separately store the unstable chemicals and label them with the purchase date.
When using the enzymes stored in -20 degrees celsius condition, they must be contained by an icebox and put back to the refrigerator immediately after finish using them to prevent affecting their activity levels.
