The Shanghai High School United team is divided into human practices division and laboratory division to fully utilize each person’s strengths on our topic.
The experiments performed by the Shanghai High School United team took place at East China University of Science and Technology and we especially appreciate the university for providing professional laboratory equipments for our utilizations.
Our research topic on African Swine Fever Disease was first proposed by Dr. ShiYuan Li. In addition to the help we received, the Shanghai High School United is grateful of Jane Sun’s, undergraduate student in Cornell University, participation and guidance that assisted our team to successfully complete our iGEM project. Dr.ShiYuan Li not only instructed us the experiment procedures, but also taught the fundamental concepts behind our experiments and strengthened every team member’s understanding on the topic.We also express special thanks to Ms. Liuting Wang, who has guided our dry group members in implementing social impact activities and business plan development. Apart from that, it is worth mentioning that Dr. Chaoguagn Ma from Zoetis and Dr. Cai from Customs Animal, Plant and Food Inspection and Quarantine Technology Center, Prof. Liang Zhang from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, have given us invaluable feedback towards our research. We feel really grateful for all the guidance they have given us.
