In this year, our team submitted 10 validated parts, including 6 basic parts and 4 composite parts. We also contributed characterization of BBa_K1537016, a previous part submitted by iGEM14_UESTC-GreenLife, 2014. The part BBa_K2986004, hGluc, is a improvement on a previous part BBa_K509005.

Our favorite part is GAVPO (BBa_K2986003), a light-switchable gene transcription factor. With the activation of blue light, it can bind to 5xUAS sequence and robustly initiates transcription of downstream gene. We have done accureate characterization in different scales such as its influence on gene transcription, protein translation and secretion.
