MEETUP WITH NWU-China, AND YAU-China

On July 30th, three iGEM teams (SCU-China, NWU-China, and YAU-China) got together at Sichuan University for a meet-up held by 2019 SCU-China. Three teams all presented the team project and the progress of the experiment and switch the suggestions about team projects. What's more, three teams also discussed team management and experiments. It was not a strictly formal meeting in style, but a useful one because of many essential suggestions. "It is a wonderful experience." The other two teams told us.

And the key information of that meet-up was listed as below:

1. To NWU-China, we noticed that their results could be hard to analyze within so many colors. As for that, we suggested them to design an RHS Color Chart for better result analysis.

2. To YAU-China, they didn’t have a safety pathway at that time, and we thought it would be against the safety protocol. So, we recommended the kill switch of 2018 Ruia-Mumbai. We thought the design thinking was worth reading.

3. Also, SCU-China got much advice from the other two teams. The most important one of them is that it can be better if we compare the existed produced method with ours in more detail. So, after the meetup, we immediately took action to do further research of cordycepin and its market.
