Questionnaire analysis report

Overview

In order to get a comprehensive understanding on whether our audience have trouble related to the blue light and what can we do to help them improve the situation if they do have such problems, we design a questionnaire and publish it on the Internet. After we receive the result, our concerns turn out to be plausible.

Concerns & Results

No.1 Our first question comes to that do people work overtime and use electronic devices frequently during this period of time?
Yes, they do. According to the feedback, about 40% among those who never work overtime or only work overtime once or twice a week will use electronic devices for about 2 hours. When it comes to those who work overtime more than twice a week, 60% of them will use electronic devices up to 4 hours. Even worse, some people claim that they have to work overtime every day and a quarter of them will use electronic devices up to 6 hours or even longer.

No.2 Nowadays in China, some people hold the perspective that the blue light(electronic devices’ screens are its major resource) will do harm to people health including but not limited to negative influence on slumber. As a result, we come up with the question that is that true for all people or just a case-by-case?
It is a typical phenomena. Based on the statistics, 20% of people who are used to using their mobile phones before sleeping sleep 2 hours less than those who do not have the habit to look through the mobile phone before going to bed. Also, when it comes to sleeping quality, only 16% of people who are used to using their mobile phone before sleeping say that their sleeping quality is very good; compared to these people, 30% of those who do no have such a habit says their sleeping quality is good. What is more, a few people who using mobile phone before going to bed will find them still very tired after they wake up; by contrast, none of those who do not have such a habit report the same feeling. Based on the statistics, we draw the conclusion that the blue light(electronic devices’ screens are its major resource) will do harm to people health including but not limited to negative influence on slumber.

No.3 During the time we meet with some factories, we notice that many of them do not have a clear recognition on the blue light, so we also come up with the question that how much do our audience know about the blue light.
Not surprisingly, most of them do not have a comprehensive recognition on it. It turns out to be that over 50% of these people never hear the term---blue light---before or know little about it. Only 7% of our audience claims that they are experts to the blue light.

No.4 During our interview, we also meet with an inventor of a new anti-blue light glasses. So this question come to our sight: do these anti-blue light products really work, or just a kind of stunt?
The result actually surprised us. No more than 30% of people who think that these products do have significant influence among those who are not experts in this field. However, when it comes to the experts, 60% of them think that these products have significant influence. As a result, we can draw the conclusion that these types of products do have positive influence; but the blue light is something that can not be directly detect, and people may have a high expectation on the products, over 50%, up to over 60%, of those who are not experts believe that these products do not have significant influence. Plus, the more one knows about the blue light, the less possible for him or her to refuse buying a anti-blue light product. So this remind us that before we want to popularize our products, we need to coupe related knowledge to our targets.

Conclusion
After we finish the analysis, we are more convincing to the potential market of our products, and we actually improve our marketing plan after we know the exact social circumstance about the blue light in China. In the end of our questionnaire, we ask an additional question that do you agree or disagree with the following statement that people should put down their electronic devices after working and spend their time accompanying their family or friends in real world, 95% of our audience strongly agree with our opinion. The number impress us a lot and make us more firm on our final goal---creating a better world with limited blue light.
