The NYUSH 2019 iGEM Team successfully showcased our research at the annual iGEM Giant Jamboree, synthetic biology’s largest innovation competition held in Boston every year. Our project, Collagen-Derived Engineering Scaffold (CODES), was awarded a silver medal for its potential to make a breakthrough in tissue regeneration methods.

Team Delagetes Shaoting (Hermit) Peng, Daisy Bugarin, Yuma Kanazawa, and Jessie Zhang represented the team in Boston for the competition. Events of the competition included giving a poster presentation, as well as a research slide presentation to other teams and judges.
