Below, we have outlined our medal fulfillment based on the iGEM 2019 competition guidelines as stated here
Gold Medal

  • Integrated Human Practice: Integrated HP: Integrated the investigated issues into the updated purpose and design of our project as explained here
  • Improve a Previous Part/Project: We were inspired by the work of Imperial College iGEM 2018-Our stories on improvements can be accessed in part 3 of our results(Detailed information can be found here).
  • Model Your Project: We have documented the mathematical model that can be viewed here
Silver Medal

  • Validated Part / Validated Contribution: Created, documented, and submitted new Biobrick Parts to the Registry with the quantitative and qualitative data. Learn more here
  • Collaboration: From hosting the Shanghai Regional Conference to collaborating with teams one-on-one, learn more about our collaboration efforts here
  • Human Practices: We reached out to environmental groups as well as an expert in tissue engineering to understand how our project would be recieved. Read about it here
Bronze Medal

  • Registration and Jamboree Attendance: We have registered, had a great summer doing experiments and will be attending the Giant Jamboree
  • Attributions: We thank everyone who helped contribute to our project here
  • Project Inspiration and Description: Documentedhow and why we chose our project, stated our goals and explained how we achieve those goals.
  • Characterization / Contribution: Successfully completed the characterizing measurements on the existing parts (BBa_K2862021), and posted results on the Registry.
