Basic Parts
Each of the following parts was submitted to the iGEM registry. This year, we have designed a variety of different constructs for validating two insulin varieties: proinsulin peptides and an ultrastable single chain insulin, SCI57, in E.coli and C. reinhardtii. We have also designed NAB1 constructs to manipulate light amounts needed for algae growth. Finally, we have also designed a kill switch to be implemented in case of environmental release.
