Collaboration
- IGEM Thessaly from Greece reached out to us in order to translate a project guide of theirs, we gave no second thought and translated their guideinto one of the many languages of Pakistan - Urdu. We hope this allows their project to be more inclusive and accessible to others.
- IGEM lab pats sent us their popular figure Mike the microbe, who we capture photos of ever so elegantly sitting on our lab desk.
- Our mentor, Saad Rasool, suggested we contact a PhD student from iGEM CMUQ for help with our characterization experiments. We contacted Joana from IGEM CMUQ for help via email in regards to getting insight on how to go about characterizing a part.
- We also contacted several teams throughout the world via Instagram asking them for the certain hindrances and fails they had to face throughout the process.
- we reached out to igem pune to inquire about the challenges they've faced this season, and how they overcame them. We learned that a good part of their funding was from a government grant, which motivated us further to pursue talks with the government to establish similar grants in Pakistan."
