Part Collection
This is a plastic-binding protein coding parts collection. This collection includes proteins that bind to polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polypropylene (PP), polyurethane (PU). Also, proteins can bind to various kinds of plastic materials such as fiber, cloth, and film. These plastic binding proteins are fused with SpyCatcher which can form isopeptide bond between SpyTag when they are mixed. Therefore, these proteins can be easily conjugated with proteins that have SpyTag. Through this SpyCatcher/SpyTag system, these proteins give plastic-binding ability to arbitrary type of protein. Furthermore, each protein has a character for binding targets. Some bind strongly to fibers and some to clothes. When giving a plastic-binding ability to other proteins, proteins can be chosen depending on the binding target.
