Our assembled composite parts has been characterized with the most relevant lab works to represent real-life usage. We use sterilized sea water that is used by shrimp farmers to fill their ponds to make our Vibrio parahaemolyticus growth medium. By doing this, we have already mimic the condition of shrimp pond water. The successful results that we brought from that experiment demonstrates that our parts are possible to be used in real usage scheme.

Now after long experiments, the Shrimpal.id device is finally become a reality! This toolbox detection kit help us to make the approach to Synthetic Biology in a reality.

1. First we inoculate an inactive engineered cell by freeze drying preservation to the cuvette in the tool box

2. This cuvette is packaged safely to protect the dried engineered cells

3. Then, we take the pond water using syringe and we filtered it to the cuvette contain engineered cells

4. Next we take the optimized sterile medium in a vial bottle using a syringe

5. The sterile medium is filtered into a cuvette that contains engineering cells and pond water finally the three components are stored mixed and incubated for several hour.
