Bronze

1. Our team applied for a position to participate in iGEM in early April, and have spent several months devoted to our project. Also, we will participate in the Giant Jamboree to share our work and to hear about the works from others.
2. We have build up our wiki, designed our poster and managed to be ready to present for the Jamboree.
3. We have submitted our judging form.
4. We have described the detailed attributions of our team members.
5. We have added quantitative experimental characterization data to the existing Part BBa_I0500, BBa_K1031912.

Silver

1. We have designed, built and experimentally validated 2 new and functional biobricks. They are: BBa_K3202044, BBa_K3202045. We have submitted the data and to the Registry of Standard Biological Parts.
2. 68 new parts have been submitted to the Registry of Standard Biological Parts.
3. We have collaborated with SHSBNU_China, RDFZ-China, NYU_New_York, QHFZ-China, GENAS_China, UCAS-China, and Cornell. We shared insights on experiments and shared in detailed laboratory needs. See more in our wiki page: collaboration.
4. Human Practice_Public engagement:
We promoted the concept of synthetic biology through social media, public lectures, and more. See more in our wiki page: Public engagement.

Gold

1. Integrated human practice:
a. We interviewed a manager in Yanjing Brewery to examine the demand of our designed project.
b. We interviewed the CEO of Bluepha Bio Ltd. to investigate more about how synthetic biotech companies can protect their strains in industrial production while achieving efficient mass production.
c. We interviewed an anonymous government official to examine how patent offices and related laws protect intellectual property in microbiology and synthetic biology.
d. We interviewed biology Ph.D. Candidate Mr. Wang and forensic microbiologist Dr. Yuan to investigate about common methods to prevent leakage of microbes into the environment.
e. To examine more about why people tend to solve disputes on patented microbes stolen by their competitors by negotiation rather than prosecution, we interviewed enterprise patent right consultant Mrs. Chen Yingjuan.
See more in our wiki page: Human Practices.
2. We have improved the part BBa_K2243012, which the coding sequence for Bxb1, a recombinase. We changed the RBS sequence in this part and designed a library for improving the effectiveness of the recombinase. Our new part is BBa_K3202041
3. Model : Our project's bistable system module gains insight from the model created, see more information.
4. Demonstration : We have demonstrated that our project can work as expected. See more in our wiki page: demonstrate.
