NanoString Technologies


NanoString Technologies is a publicly held provider of life science tools for translational research and molecular diagnostics. NanoString invented a digital molecular barcoding technology. Their products are based on this technology. The company was founded in 2003. Nanostring Technologies has got an exclusive license to develop and market the technology. Thanks to NanoString Technologies financial support, we could make this year’s project successful. DWK Lifescience


DWK Life Sciences provides the world’s laboratories with the most comprehensive range of labware for scientific research and technical applications as well as solutions for storage and packaging. DWK manufactures a wide range of glassware and special products for life sciences. Thanks to DWKs for providing us with glassware, with which we were able to run the high amount of experiments, like cultivation of microorganisms and purification of proteins. extruder is a start-up, located in the western part of Austria, specialized in 3D printing materials and technologies. This year, they kindly provided us with 3D printing filaments made of PLA (Polylactid) and PETG (Polyethylenterephthalat) for printing components for our hardware project and lab supplies. Integrated DNA Technologies


Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is one of the largest manufacturers of oligonucleotides in the world, also offering solutions in genome editing, gene synthesis and sequencing. We want to thank IDT, especially Luka Kadovic and Tom Speedy, for their expertise and experience, and the delivery of high-quality gBlocks, and primers in record time. Labfolder


Labfolder offers software solutions to streamline daily work in the lab. The platforms that Labfolder built are meant to simplify workflows and scientific documentation. Cubuslab is a software to design experiments, control laboratory instruments and automate data collection. The electronic lab notebook labfolder can be used for the documentation of experiments and allowed our team members to retrieve data in seconds. We are grateful that Labfolder offered the opportunity to use their electronic lab notebook, to make our documentation of labwork much easier.

Microsynth Seqlab


Microsynth (founded in 1989) is a leading European company in the area of nucleic acid synthesis & analysis. The main activities are divided into the following three business areas: DNA/RNA synthesis, DNA/RNA analysis and sequencing and contract research/outsourcing.
