In the difficult course of the topic, we have already started our hp. We believe that whether it is synthetic biology or iGEM, since the knowledge learned is used to solve practical problems, it is crucial that the problem solved fits the reality of life. The experience of ancestors tells us that many problems that are bothering you may not be so common or not so important in the real life of the public. In this regard, we started the topic on several topics, bacterial cellulose caries treatment, capsaicin receptor inhibition, and comprehensive difficulty and repeatability.
Continuous investigation after the question is set
When we identified the problem we needed to solve, we didn't stop investigating. Previous surveys have been popular, broad but unprofessional. We need more professional surveys and more targeted data. We did some work on that. iGEM for many beginners to prepare the most basic science video, although it is very simple, but many professional vocabulary for some English is not so good high school students, is still a little difficult. This is also a problem we have encountered. For this reason, we compiled the words that the team members did not understand and recognize in the video of the experiment and basic knowledge, and published them on the Internet.
In addition, since we use zoom online to popularize science, we also recorded our analysis and interpretation of previous cases, which will be released to the Internet through various channels after editing, so as to provide some help for the following teams.
Another important point is that we have formed an alliance with the high school teams in east China with the team attached to Shanghai foreign studies university. We plan to compile our own experience into a book after the end of this iGEM session.
