GinR GinI GinA is a quorum-sensing system belonging to the luxR/luxI family that exists in wood vinegar bacillus. It is an ahl-based quorum-sensing system. Among them, there were 30% homologous sequences between ginR and some members of luxR family, and 40% homologous sequences between ginI and some members of luxI family. GinR protein will bind to AHL protein produced by ginI to promote the transcription of ginI and other corresponding sequences. GinA needs to be cotranscribed with ginI in m. xyloaceus, and ginA protein will inhibit its growth and oxidative fermentation.
