✔: involved ✔✔: made main contribution Project design Our team member Jun Ma first had the idea of this project. Through social practice and understanding that there were many people who were suffering from gout, he consulted the relevant information and asked the teacher to start the research project. Jun Ma reported the design to the school leaders, so that we could start our adventure in iGEM 2019. Then the project was developed by Jun Ma and Shaowei Luo. Mengxi Zhang searched the needed sequences in the project. Experiments All members attended to perform experiments. (1) Molecular cloning Tianhong Li designed the construction strategy of the vectors. Jun Ma, Haochen Li mainly constructed the vectors. Zihan Liu and Jingyi Wang also did some construction. (2)Cell experiments Mengxi Zhang and Yuhan Xie mainly performed the experiments in cell room. They debugged the gene circuit in HeLa cells to degrade uric acid (UA). Jun Ma also did some cell experiments. (3)Bacterial sensor debugging Aiqi Zhao and Jingyun Wei mainly performed the experiments of UA detection. They debugged the gene circuits to report UA concentration in E. coli. Shaowei Luo also did some related experiments. Human practices All members attended to human practices. For education human practices, Aiqi Zhao and Mengxi Zhang were the responsible persons. For integrated human practices, the responsible persons of core interviews are as followings: for the interviews with doctors, Mengxi Zhang, Jun Ma, Zihan Liu, Shaowei Luo, Jingyun Wei, Aiqi Zhao, Haochen Li and Yuhan Xie worked a lot. For interviews with scientists, Aiqi Zhao, Shaowei Luo, Mengxi Zhang and Yuhan Xie worked a lot. Mengxi Zhang managed things about questionnaire. Jun Ma searched for information about hyperuricemia and gout. Tianhong Li, Shaowei Luo and Jun Ma were responsible for collaborations. At last, all the information we got from human practices was integrated by Mengxi Zhang. Model Shaowei Luo was responsible for model. During Shaowei Luo established the mathematical model, Peking iGEM 2019 gave important guidance. BNU-China iGEM 2019 helped write code in Matlab software. Art design Team logo:Jingyun Wei. Jingyun Wei helped to beautify the wiki. All members helped to proofread the content before the wiki freeze day. Life Secretary Jingyi Wang and Zihan Liu are responsible for finance. Moreover, they help all members prepare things that we should take to the USA with their experience. Teachers Our primary PI, secondary PI, instructor and advisor helped us a lot throughout the project. They give lessons about synthetic biology and iGEM, checked the design of our project and taught us the experimental operations. They helped us order reagents and consumables. Most importantly, they supervised our experimental Process, took us to the places of interviewers to do human practices and visa section, which aimed at keeping our safety. Others The original vectors was allowed to use by Shuangyan Tang, Institute of microbiology, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Sanger sequencing and gene synthesis were done by biotechnology companies. BEAS_China 2019 helped us to test our amplifier parts in their heavy metal sensor. Peking 2019 gave us some enzymes and helped us do the flow cytometry. Peking 2019 and BNU-China 2019 helped us in the work of modeling. Worldshaper-Shanghai 2019, DLUT_China 2018, Hong_Kong_UCCKE 2017 & 2019 gave some advices for the project. This page was made by refer to GreatBay_China 2018.
