Existing Part we characterized

GFP coding device

Dynamics of GFP fluorescence in different E.coli strains

In this project E.coli Top10, BL21 and BL21 Star were transformed with plasmid containing biobrick BBa_J364000. We measured GFP fluorescence at 2 h intervals over a 44 h period for three transformed strains and three non-transformed controls. Our results show that transformed E. coli BL21 cells emit a substantially higher GFP fluorescence than BL21 Star or Top10 strains. Thus, to confirm it we measured the GFP fluorescence intensity at 510 nm of these three strains over 44 hours period.
