In the summer our team organised a one-hour lecture to inform everyone that was interested (inside university and general public) about our project and the concepts of iGEM and Synthetic Biology. Here we described what iGEM is and its philosophy and role in synthetic biology, before giving a basic-level introduction to our own iGEM project and its future potential. To conclude, we invited all open questions to facilitate a lively discussion about synthetic biology research.
