As a team, we organized an informational stand about our project – the RocKit, at Brightlands Chemelot Campus Geleen. Brightlands is a world-leading scientific research location in industrial and environmental science and a fast-growing open community of numerous chemical and biotechnological companies. Moreover, Brightlands Chemelot Campus is a place where the MSP-iGEM team holds general meetings and has its laboratory. The stand was organized multiple times, in the canteen around noon as it is a critical point at the campus where staff and scientists from various companies spend their lunch break. The MSP-Maastricht stand involved a presentation on a screen, informative fliers and homemade cookies or cake pieces to draw the attention of the scientists working at the campus, promoting some lively conversations. Our team was able to communicate the concept of the RocKit with many experts from the campus and accumulate a wide repertoire of scientists for further collaboration.
