I am a senior microbiology major. I joined iGEM to help research and create methods for clearing antibiotic resistant infections without the use of antibiotics, as well as to increase my knowledge of current methods in synthetic biology research. I have a particular interest in the use of bacteriophages as an alternative to antibiotics. In my free time, I enjoy playing guitar and hiking around Colorado.
