Human Practices

Hi, my name is Shantika Bhat and I am a Junior at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. I love being involved in science and healthcare which is why I am exploring different projects to unleash my passion. This team explores different problems that occur in Baltimore and internationally to create something with biology and engineering to help solve the problem. I never knew that synthetic biology was real which is why Baltimore Biocrew sparked a new interest in me.

Collaboration

Hi, my name is Shubhan Bhat. I'm an upcoming sophomore in Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. I joined iGEM this year because I'm interested in studying biology and contribute in helping the world with it. I also like designing and promoting the iGEM team on T-shirts and a website. iGEM helped me think more of career choices in my life. Although I don't want to be a biologist or work in health care, the program is fun and interesting, especially adding art and creativity to it.
