Health-Biology master’s degree in transdisciplinary field in biochemistry and biochemistry I was in charge of the management of the project, I had to carry out the administrative tasks, the management of the account and organization of the different poles of the team. This experience will change my way of thinking about the world of work in the field of biology, since not all jobs are those of researchers. I really appreciated this side of following a project from the beginning with friends to go as far as possible and that it works. In addition, it's an opportunity to meet students from around the world , which is very rewarding. For me, iGEM is one of the best training in real business life, which I aspire to in a few years.

Master’s degree of Culture and Communication, option Event, Mediation of Arts and Sciences in University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines I came back this year to iGEM Evry Paris-Saclay team to try to bring a prize in Public Engagement and Education. Take over the roles which I was responsible for last years was a real pleasure. More-over, our project allowed me to realize a comic to explain synthetic biology for a large public. And it also allowed me to expand my circle of professional contacts.

Health-Biology master’s degree in transdisciplinary field in biochemistry and biochemistry. The iGEM contest was very rewarding for me, it allowed me to acquire a lot of competence in various fields. Being co-responsible for the scientific part, I acquired a lot of competence in laboratory but also in project management, implementation and application of protocols. Being in a small team has allowed us to become versatile. From the bench to popularisation, through the event organization and the search for funding, we had to help each other. In addition, iGEM gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of researchers and teams from all over the world, which allowed me to broaden my critical sense and my open-mindedness.

Master in health biology transdisciplinary biochemistry and biotechnology. In the Evry Paris-Saclay team, I have worked in the wet lab and for the sponsor research to sharpen my communication and laboratory skills. Take responsibility in a laboratory is a great way to sharpen your decision making skills and apply the competence you have learnt in class. It was very rewarding and an experience I would redo without any hesitation. iGEM was also an immense opportunity to meet different students from all over the world with different points of view on synthetic biology and science in general.

M2 Molecular and Cellular Biology specialty Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Sorbonne University. I did my M1 Chemistry in University of Evry Paris-Saclay and in order to acquire dual skills, I chose to participate in iGEM in the weblab. Working in a laboratory with young researchers is a key reason that drives me to pursue my PhD studies. This allows me to become familiar with the environment and the working methods. Thus I could discover several sectors of activity, which allows me to strengthen my skills in theory and in practice.

1st year of a PhD in microfluidics I am a newly PhD student working on Microfluidics applied to Synthetic Biology. My dream was to participate in the iGEM contest since I started my biology bachelor and I fulfil it last year as a team leader. It was surely the most tiring and satisfying experience of my life. This year, I enrolled in the team to work on the modelling part. Later, I would like to found my own biotechnology company and become a science fiction author.

Professional degree in web and mobile development. Currently in a 3 years degree in web and mobile development, I had the necessary skills to build and manage the team wiki. For me, it was a challenge to help the iGEM team in the web development side. Listening to the team demand and trying to do best to represent their work.

Graduated with a Master in Marketing obtained in business school, I am looking for new challenges before starting my professional life. Joining the iGEM team Genopole Evry is therefore for me a real opportunity and the opportunity to discover a discipline that was totally unknown until today. This contest also allows me to put into practice the different concepts that I learned during my studies, which makes the challenge all the more interesting.
