Attributions



Our project would not have made progress without the contribution of so many dedicated people. Everyone helped to some extent in almost all the aspects of the project. We would also like to take the chance to thank our advisors and instructors for all their help.

This page is dedicated to thanking all the people that made our project possible.



All team members contributed in the ideation process, fundraising, public engagement activities, writing the wiki and preparing materials for fundraising activities.

Laboratory
Every team member did actively participate in the lab work; Aarón Adrián, Onintza Agirrezabala, Pablo Allo, Lorena Ariceta, Pablo Allo, Lorena Ariceta, Laura Giménez, Xabier González, Leire Murillo, Irati Oiza, Irene Oquiñena, Daniel Palacios, Álex Pascual, Leire Paz, Hugo Salas, Nerea Villar and Diego Vinatea.

We all learnt how to do different procedures such as minipreps, digestions, electrophoresis, preparation of culture media, striations exhaustion, PCR and others.

Model
Hugo Salas, Xabier González, Diego Vinatea and Pablo Allo, among the students, and Carlos López, advisor of our team, were in charge of the mathematical and the machine learning models.

They designed the algorithms and adapted them to our specific substances to obtain the correlation between concentration and color.

Wiki
Xabier González and Pablo Allo were the head of the web programming, they structured, implemented and designed our outstanding wiki.

They organized and controlled all the content uploaded to our wiki, also developed and designed all the pages and the graphics.

Banner and Poster
Thanks to Carlos López, our team advisor, for helping us with the planning and design of our team banner and team poster. His creativity and ideas were really useful during the whole designing process.

Content Generation
Nerea Villar and Daniel Palacios were the responsible of our social media, they kept our social medias updated and created new content.

Irene Oquiñena and Leire Paz created our amazing blog and every day wrote our lab work, our anecdotes and our excursions.

Primary PI
We want to thank Imma Farrán for giving us permission to work in her laboratory and for giving us access to her lab equipment during our lab work.

Secondary PI
Many thanks to Maria Ancín for teaching us some basic laboratory techniques (e.g. agarose gel electrophoresis, PCR reaction, plating), for sharing with us some of the protocols and for her advice on laboratory procedures.

She has been actively involved during our ideation phase and guided us throughout the project. Her insights during the ideation process helped us choosing the direction of our project.

In addition, she has been guiding us in the lab and helping with any practical issues. We appreciate her unconditional support on troubleshooting and his valuable suggestions. Despite our lab mistakes (almost first time in a real lab) she encouraged us to overcome them.



Instructors and advisors always play an important role during the project’s progress, and we would like to thank ours for contributing so much.

Instructors
Thanks to Sara Iglesias, our main instructor for her support and advice throughout our project’s development! Besides, she supervised us during the whole time and put forward many useful advice, she graciously dedicated countless hours to helping us with every step along the way. She has not only instructed us how to carry out the project but also how to face many situations that arise in real work environment.

Advisors
We are so grateful to the instructors Esther González, Carlos López, Delia Muñoz, Israel Arnedo, Eloisa Ramírez-Vaquero, Juanjo Rubio and Joaquín Sevilla for their advices. They provided us with professional guidance, supported us during the entire project and gave us valuable feedback on the potential of our project.

All our advisors helped us shape our project into a tangible and realistic form.

Fundraising
In order to finance our trip to the Giant Jamboree, we had to organize various events and we also participated in a crowdfunding page.

We organized various raffles and a mus tournament where people could have fun and win prizes, so we could earn money to finance this project.

We participated in Goteo a crowdfounding page, so we want to thank all the people who helped us, it was essential for our development.

Human Practices
Thank you so much to everyone that participated in our survey and for helping us to spread it.

We also want to thank Karrikaluze for letting us go to their summer camp and perform different science experiments with the kids.

Many thanks to the Filmoteca de Navarra for helping us collect money by selling tickets for the documentary Genesis 2.0.
