About

Alabama born, San Luis Obsipo raised, and current Santa Cruz resident, Jonah embodies the nomadic surfer lifestyle. If he’s not out at Waddell shredding some gnarly waves, you can find him in the iGEM culture room testing the confluency of chicken cells. On his days off from culturing cells and writing algorithms, he likes to take his chicken, Lil Peep, sailing on the rough choppy waters of the Monterey bay.

There are two things in the world Jonah can not live without: his australian shepherd doggos and freshly brewed Keurig coffee. And as a connoisseur of Keurig coffee, you’ll never see him without his mug in lab.
