M.Sc. Students:

We would like to express our gratitude to the technical and professional support and guidance we received from our M.Sc. Students in our project. The M.Sc. students were heads of the following aspects of the project:

Ofir Levin-Piada was the head of marketing and collaborations, global communications and entrepreneurship.

Lior Levy was the head of the administration and registration team and led the group graphic design and wiki teams.

Sarah Pozner was head of lab work, experiment designs, parts collection and BioBricks.

Dayana Blokon was the head of the human practice team, communal initiatives and the group's major events.

Undergraduate students:

Adi Yochai managed human practice activities and was involved in the wet lab, mainly at the cloning stage.

Yael Cohen Eick was in charge of studying the judging book rules/medals and communicating with the mentor; she also worked in cell culture in the wet lab.

Saar Hamra worked on the software of the wiki and designed it.

Lee Maor led public engagement activities and collaborations with other teams.

Noy Kedem was in charge of the social media and the graphic design.

Razi Zoabi was involved in the cloning stage in the wetlab and organizing the human practice activities.

Eden Asraf worked on the cell cultures and biobricks in the wet lab and was involved in the team’s collaborations.

Liad Klein headed the logistic and fundraising execution.

Moria Levy was part of the lab team, was deeply involved in the BioBricks wet lab work and human practice activities.

Lior Serraf took part in fundraising and communicating with donors and sponsors.

Wet lab

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Gidi Gross, who supported us all the way, hosted us in his lab and helped us to improve all aspects of our project.

We also received ongoing guidance from Dr. Lior Nissim, who provided us with protocols and good advice throughout the different experimental stages.

We would like to express our thanks to Dr. Itai Sharon for his support with Computational modeling for our project.

Public engagement

Oshrit, Dina, Reut, karin and Ophira, the dedicated team of the Department of Global Partnerships at Tel-Hai College Tel-Hai College and Mira Hershkovits Head of Entreprenership center who helped us with fundraising and communicating with donors.

Human practice

The association of Zichron Menachem helped us to establish the hair donation event for cancer patients.

The music band of Tel-Hai College took part in several public events we held in our region.

Prof. Jacob Vaya, Dr. Doron Goldberg and Dr. Itamar Yadid provided us with scientific support and continuous feedback.

Dr. Eli Pitcovski contributed a great lecture on ethics in the ‘Pint of science’ event that we held in the local town of Kiryat Shmona.

Dear Ola from the Institute of Oncology at the Ziv Medical Center, Zefat was in contact with us and helped us organize our visit there.

Dr. Shlomo Shapira helped us with ethic.

Tracy Piada is a cancer patient whom we interviewed. Tracy helped us understand the side effects of cancer therapy.

Shlomi Moallem, the owner of Ets Hagefen Carpentry in Kibbutz Dafna, donated a book cart that he had built himself. Our team gave this cart, full of books that we collected, to the patients of the Institute of Oncology at the Ziv Medical Center in Zefat.

Kiryat Shmona municipality helped us establishing the hair donation event and the mayor of Kiryat Shmona, Mr. Avihai Stern was never going to miss such an event. He delivered a great speech and blessed our initiative.
