Future plans for our HRDK

To make HRDK a real product we have to do a lot more tests, research and make a real testable device. The constructs we are making are meant to be functional outside of the cell, so that we do not have to work with Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) in our detection kit. We can combine the idea of company Bumaga (Netherlands), which uses a card in which an electrical current can pass through and be detected. The idea still stands to combine their technology with our product design. To embed the mechanical instruments which can detect the electrical current. Bumaga also uses an app which can see patterns in detection. Their product needs to touch the screen of your phone. The detection wells of the product contains the mechanical instruments which detect electrical differences that take place during the reaction of the test. This electrical difference can be detected by the touch screen mechanisms of your phone through the mechanical instruments of Bumaga. They can design what each pattern indicates and what it stands for. To replace nitrocefin, we could search for other components which bring forth a visual color change, or alternatively, make it colorless and focus entirely on the technology of Bumaga. This mechanical mechanism is also biodegradable, according to Bumaga.
