ASHIMA KHANNA
The only 4th year Bioengineering student of the team, Ashima has wished to participate in the iGEM competition since her 2nd year. Leading a team of first time iGEMers, while being a first timer yourself is no mean feat, but she has risen to the challenge. She has handled developing our wiki, the mathematical modelling of our project and assists in wetlab work. She has also taken it upon herself to periodically remind us of how much we have left to do.
ANU OSWAL
A 3rd year Bioengineering student, Anu has worked on our wetLab work and wiki. Upbeat and cheerful, working with her in the lab means you'll never get bored. Equally skilled in pipetting and coding, her gel loading and CSS techniques are a thing of beauty.
AJAY EXTROSS
A 3rd year Bioengineering student, Ajay has worked on our wetLab work and human practices. Confident and dependable, he gives a sense of assurance that there is always someone to support you. He has been encouraging the team since day one to think outside the box and see how our project would affect the stakeholders.
ONKAR DATE
A 3rd year Bioengineering student, Onkar has worked on our wetLab and collaborations work. With a determined and steadfast attitude, he manages to inject periodic boosts of optimism into the team morale, while troubleshooting any problems we face. Having tailored a set of tried and test methods to motivate individual team members, he was also best equipped to write these descriptions.
DIVYA SHETTY
A 3rd year Bioengineering student, Divya has worked majorly in our wetLab and has made a 3D model of proposed bioreactor. A spirited and bubbly personality, she lights up whichever lab she walks into. Nicknamed Divya “Magic-Hands” Shetty, she is highly competent in wetLab procedures with an equally high success rate.
