With a team comprising just 5 students, everyone had a hand in everything that we did this iGEM season. However, some of us contributed more to a certain aspect than the others as we had sought to make PEred a success.

1 Ashima Khanna Initiative, Wiki design, Mathematical Modelling for Kdp system, Wet lab involving the pKdpF promoter ,PCR standarization and the creation of our basic part.
2 Anu Oswal Wiki design, Wet lab involving the characterization of laccase for bronze criteria.
3 Onkar Date Wet Lab involving the pKdpF+GFP composite part characterization for silver criteria, Collaborations and Presentation design.
4 Divya Shetty Wet Lab involving the creation of pKdpF+GFP composite part, 3D modelling and Poster design.
5 Ajay Extross Wet Lab involving the pKdpF+GFP composite part characterization for silver criteria, Human Practices and Presentation design.

SPECIAL ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS

-Our Primary PI and Head of School, Dr.Renu Vyas for being a constant source of strength to us throughout this project. She has provided us with the infrastructure and lab setup in and out of the institute to help us accomplish our goal. She has handled all the administrative and financial aspects of this project to make PEred a reality. We thank her for her dedication and tireless work to help us get to Boston.

-Our Secondary PI Dr.Nayana Patil, who has been by our side at all times when it comes to wetlab aspect of this project. From staying late evenings in the lab to coming to work even on holidays, we thank ma'am for making our wet lab a success.

- Our Secondary PI Dr.Madhura Chandrashekar, for troubleshooting our PCRs and RE-ligation and provide measurement facility in NCL-PUNE. She was equally supportive in the wet lab experiments.

-Professor Madhavi Bhongale for helping us with designing our wiki.

-Dr.Ketan Sarode for helping us out with our mathematical Modelling.

-Dr. Pranav Pathak and Hrutuja Nibe, 4th year bioengineering student at MIT SBSR for helping us out with our 3-D Modelling.

-ICAR, Grape Research Institute Pune and Mrs. Yogita for allowing us to use their facilities when required.

-Venky’s Poultry Research Facility, Pune and Dr.Bulbule for allowing us to use their fluorescence microscope.

-Vishwaraj Hospital, Pune and Mr.Kiran for allowing us to use their electrolyte analyzer.

-Dr. Subhash Chandrabose Chinnathambi’s lab at NCL, Pune for allowing us to use their fluorescence spectrophotometer.

-Mr. Dipak Roda at Advanced Enzymes and Mr. Satya Natarajan for being an integral part of our HP and helping us understand the gravity and depth of the situation.

- The Project Amara team for sensitizing us in regards to menstrual hygiene and waste and being an important part of our Public Engagement.

- To all the sanitation workers who shared their plight with us to help us make PEred a holistic product.

-Our Lab assistants Ms. Neha, Ms. Shraddha, Mr. Amol for being present at all times and making sure we accurately followed the protocols during Wet Lab Experiments.

-The teaching staff who provided us valuable inputs for improving both our poster and presentation and the nonteaching staff at college who stayed back after working hours and locked up the labs after we finished our daily work.

-Animish Vaze, team leader of IISER Kolkata iGEM team 2018 for guiding us and helping us out even before PEred came into existence.

-Department of Biotechnology, Government of India for believing in our idea and providing us a financial grant of 1 million rupees.
