Mentoring High School Students
HKU team helped HK_SKHLPSS team with BioBricks cloning for their assembly of DNA nanostructure.
Apart from this, we conducted a number of mentoring sessions with HK_SKHLPSS members. They have shared their concerns about the laboratory experimental procedures and based on that we prepared presentations to provide alternative solutions. We were glad to hear that later on the school iGEM team utilized our shared knowledge and brainstorming to overcome obstacles in the lab.

Exchanging insights with CUHK and NU_Kazakhstan teams
We were invited to a symposium organized by The Chinese University of Hong Kong, presented our project to international college teams and high school teams. Notably, the discussion session shared with various iGEM teams. Finally, we reached out to international iGEM teams and conducted a Skype meet-up with the team from Kazakhstan, who, in spite of the distance, were able to help us solve some wet lab issues.
