Composite parts
For the construction of our composite BioBricks, we used the 3A assembly method of cloning. The fusion protein mCherry which is a basic part (
BBa_J06504) already available in the registry is used to create composite parts of P1-mCherry (
BBa_K3171172) and
E. coli optimized pTet-mCherry (
BBa_K3171175). The reporter mCherry was chosen because of its higher suitability in
V. natriegens.
