Design and Implication of Our Logo

 

The pattern in the center of this logo represents DNA, which is also the edge of the two modules representing a switch for regulating biochemical reactions positively or negatively. The main tool utilized by our project and the central part – phase separation – is shown by a series of dots (phase).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Apart from a switch, these two centrosymmetric figures also indicate cell differentiation, which is an interesting part discussed in our project.

The colored version of the logo symbolizes the utilization of light in our experiment to induce phase separation:

We have also designed different versions of our logo. The loading icon is one of the examples:
