Moe Takahashi

Student Leader

This is my last iGEM season. I started living alone for this season. The more busy the experiment, the larger the pile of laundry. But this is the end of the hard season. I look forward to meeting you in Boston.

Soh Tsuruta

I work as a member of the Wet team. I was worried about the success of the experiment, so I had a bad dream. It ’s still a bad dream even now that we ’re busy creating a wiki.

Akito Machida

I’m not attending iGEM, but I’ll give my best support and encouragement. I’m sure that our project this year would attract you too!

Ryoto Matsuda

I was born in Toyama which has beautiful nature. Recently, I became able to drink coffee. When I have no classes, I often read books or go to a variety of place. I’m spending every day at a relaxed pace. I like experiments very much, but my skill is so-so.

Voon Yan Ming

This year is my first iGEM competition. Through iGEM, I was able to meet with lots of great people across Japan, gaining insights and skills on molecular biology. I hoped that our team can win the gold medal this year!

Ng Sin Ying

It is totally amazing to join iGEM Tokyo Tech and learn about how to work on a project in a team! From brain storming ideas, planning and performing experiments, to presenting the ideas to the public.

Kazuya Isawa

I wrote a program of Turing pattern. I was amazed to know that many complexing animals patterns are based on this Turing pattern. I'm looking forward to seeing what exciting projects are coming out in iGEM 2019!

Masaaki Nakano

It’s my first time participating iGEM. As a dry-lab team member, I made a program detecting features of a fingerprint.

Sophomore

Yusuke Kato

It's my first time to participate in an iGEM team. Through this summer, I stayed almost all day in some laboratories. Now I really enjoy working for our wet-lab teams. Unfortunately, I can't go to this Jamboree, but I'll try my best to help other members.

Takato Saito

Last year, I participated in Tokyo Tech team as a trainee and saw senior students’ activity. So, I’d like to enjoy iGEM and learn presentation skills in Boston!

Yuumi Kitano

Through iGEM, I met characteristic and wonderful members. I would like to use my experience in various arias.

Ayano Tabira

This is my first time to join iGEM Tokyo tech. I'm one of the members of the wet part. At the first time I know almost nothing about synthetic biology, but through the experiments during this summer, I was able to know about it and enjoy the experiments.

Koki Date

It is my first time to participate in iGEM. iGEM activity gives me opportunities to learn base of experiment. I hope many people have an interest in our project.

Freshman

Aoi Shinkai

I have participated in iGEM Tokyo Tech since this spring. I am interested in genetic engineering. My hobby is bird watching.

Akari Kuroishi

Hi! I have liked biology since I was a junior high school student. So, I am happy to participate in iGEM Tokyo Tech. I would like to learn genetics as a member of this team.

Tamaha Ogawa

I could learn a lot of new things by joining this team. Although I couldn’t have deeply involved, I’m happy to be a member of this tea.

Rina Satomi

I am interested in the medical field of biology. I'm still a freshman, but I'd like to learn a lot from now on.

Ryohei Yufu

Only 6 months has passed since I joined this team, so I still don't have various knowledge. However, I want to cooperate with senior members as much as possible so that they can do their best in the competition.

Senior

Hajime Fujita

This is my 4th iGEM. I'm always overwhelmed by how huge the field of biology is. That is a part of reason why I continue my career as an iGEMer. Currently, I'm engaged with final-year research on development of new-generation wearable glucose sensor at Fujie Group, Tokyo Tech.
