Parts overview

After designing our parts, we made use of the IDT and Twist Bioscience offers to synthesize our constructs. All parts are codon-optimized for expression in E. coli. All composite parts consist of two basic parts that are separately registered. This enables the use of our parts for those wishing to combine one of our basic parts to compose a different fusion protein. Furthermore, we created a part collection of all parts which are involved in the paired split-NanoLuc system to detect dsDNA. The basic parts, which the composite parts are composed of, are also included in the part collection. Our favorite basic part is dCas9-CP1041 (BBa_K3168001) and our favorite composite part is dCas9-BRET (BBa_K3168007).
